Car Insurance

Your auto insurance policy will help you pay for damage to your car, your own injury costs or the harm done to others in wrecks that were deemed your fault. All policies vary, but yours can include such coverage options as:

  • Collision Coverage: This coverage pays for damage to your car after a wreck.
  • Comprehensive Coverage: If your car sustains damage that is not related to a wreck — such as fire, theft or vandalism damage — then this coverage can pay for the repairs.
  • Liability Coverage: If you are found at-fault for a wreck, then other parties (such as the other involved driver) usually have a right to file against your liability insurance for their damage costs. Coverage can contain Bodily Injury Coverage for someone's medical costs and potential lost income. It will also offer Property Damage Coverage to pay for things like their vehicle damage.
  • Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Coverage: When someone else is found at-fault for a wreck, they might lack the liability insurance to pay you for your own losses. Your un/underinsured coverage can help you cover those losses on your own.
  • Medical Payments Coverage: This coverage can pay for your medical bills or those of your passengers if you get hurt in a wreck.
  • Other policy options might include Roadside Assistance, Rental Car Supplements, Deductible-Free Glass Insurance, Trailer Liability Insurance, Gap Insurance or Replacement Cost Value Coverage.

Both Tennessee and Kentucky require drivers to carry proof of financial responsibility. To do so, drivers get car insurance. Each state requires all policies sold to contain certain coverage.

Tennessee:

  • $25,000 bodily injury liability coverage (per person)
  • $50,000 bodily injury liability coverage (total per accident)
  • $15,000 property damage liability coverage

Kentucky:

  • $25,000 bodily injury liability coverage (per person)
  • $50,000 bodily injury liability coverage (total per accident)
  • $25,000 property damage liability coverage

If you have financed your vehicle, you might also face a requirement from your lender to carry Collision, Comprehensive or other coverage. You do have the option to increase your liability and physical damage coverage to your satisfaction once you meet the minimum limits.

We also offer RV insurance (including full-timers packages) and Motorcycle Insurance with appropriate contents and enhancements riders. Boat/Marine Insurance Policies can also be purchased for your personal watercrafts that need appropriate coverage.

Homeowners Insurance

Residents of both on-base and off-base housing need homeowners coverage, and many have a lender-required rule to purchase a policy. Yours can offer:

  • Structure Coverage: This coverage will pay for damage to your house and its related fixtures following events like fires, weather and vandalism. The policy will also cover other structures — such as fences, gazebos, in-ground swimming pools or detached garages.
  • Contents Coverage: This policy can pay you for damaged, destroyed or stolen belongings.
  • Liability Coverage: Should a third party — such as a friend or neighbor — get hurt or sustain property damage as a result of your mistakes or negligence, then this coverage can pay for their losses.
  • Scheduled Items Endorsements: Special or high-value belongings — such as jewelry — can receive coverage for their unique values through this endorsement you add to the policy.
  • Loss of Use Coverage: If damage occurs in your home, then you can use this coverage to pay for such costs like hotel or dining bills during the period you cannot live in the property.

There are various other policy options that you can use to expand your coverage. For example, you might need Water-Backup/Sump Pump Overflow Coverage, Cyber Data Protection, Identity Theft Coverage or Replacement Cost Contents Insurance.

Business Insurance

To meet their business' insurance needs, many people buy Business Owners Packages, also called BOPs. These contain several types of coverage, and they are great incentives for small business owners who have both cost and convenience in mind. They usually contain:

  • Property Insurance: Damage to the business' owned property and contents can receive coverage. It will also cover customers' belongings left in your care.
  • General Liability Insurance: When you cause property damage or bodily injury to third parties — such as your clients — this coverage can pay for their recovery costs, lost income and repair bills. It can also cover your legal expenses if the affected party sues you.
  • Business Interruption Coverage: Should a halt in operations occur due to a hazardous event, this coverage can help you recover income lost on expenses in the meantime.

There are many other ways you can augment your coverage, such as by buying Personal Liability Insurance, Scheduled Equipment Endorsements, Cyber Liability Insurance, Equipment Breakdown Insurance, Crime Insurance and additional protection. If your BOP doesn't offer the additional perks automatically, you can purchase them separately.

Other types of critical commercial insurance, such as Commercial Auto Insurance or Workers Compensation Coverage cannot be purchased in a BOP, but you can buy them separately.

If you do not qualify for a BOP, which is tailored for small businesses, you might qualify for a Commercial Package Policy, which is better-designed for larger or specialty businesses.
